Updates
- Jan 20: removed the comment about assuming a small amount of resistance in the last problem. The purpose was to allow you to see how it might actually talk to the environment (fluctuation-dissipation) but I think it's probably best to just assume it like we always do. :)
- Jan 23: clarified that the standing wave modes in the cable are each independent harmonic oscillators.
